All steps in the workflow must be completed for your club or organization to gain recognition. Registration of clubs and organizations is an annual process and must be completed each academic year.

Step #1 : Recognition Form

Complete the club and organization recognition application in Arizona Connect . Only officers can complete this form for your club or organization. Follow these instructions. 

• Open your internet browser and visit Arizona Connect.
• Sign-in using your UArizona netID and password - if you cannot log in using your UA netID and password, email the clubs’ team at clubs@arizona.edu.
• Click on the “groups” tab
• Click on “All Groups”
• On the top of the screen, highlighted in blue, there will be two options; “Register New Student Organization” or “Register New Leadership Program”. Click on the appropriate button for your group.
• Complete the recognition form and upload your constitution

Step #2 : Training Requirements

Three trainings are required for your club to move through the recognition process. 

• Your advisor must complete the advisor training
• Your advisor must complete the Hazing Prevention Training & Awareness for Employees
• One club officer listed in Arizona Connect must complete the Hazing Prevention training

All trainings must be completed in UAccess Edge learning. The system does not send advisors an email, so it is the club’s or organization's responsibility to reach out and ensure your advisor is aware of these trainings and they complete it. 

Certificate of completion does not need to be uploaded or shared with the Student Engagement & Traditions (SET) office. We will verify completion of trainings regularly. 

Step #3 : Payment

Pay the club and organization fee - clubs and organizations will only be provided the link and instructions to submit payment once they’ve completed all other steps. The link and instructions will be submitted in the Arizona Connect chat function. Please note that only the original submitter of the workflow can see the communication. The club fee is $150, regardless of the timing of the payment.
